Petrolia, ON – Today, Mainstreet Credit Union held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of a new full-service branch at 4128 Petrolia Line. The event was attended by the Mayor of Petrolia, Brad Loosley, Chief Administrative Office/Treasurer, Rick Charlebois, along with Southside Construction, and members of Mainstreet’s board, executive team and staff to celebrate Mainstreet’s permanent home in the community.
The new branch will offer a wide range of personal, business and investment solutions to serve the growing population of Petrolia and the surrounding areas. Mainstreet’s advice-focused approach will help members and the public to achieve their financial goals.

Set to open its doors in the spring of 2025, this location will transition the Brigden branch team to this upgraded location, providing the staff and members with a bright and welcoming space with increased capacity for future growth and member education.
While construction is underway, Mainstreet has established a temporary location at 4137 Petrolia Line, inside the Exit Realty building. Members can visit this temporary location for account opening, non-cash transactions and to meet with advisors from Tuesday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
