Attention Members!


Starting in May all members will receive a new Mainstreet debit card by mail. This is required as our supplier has changed and any prior cards will no longer be supported as of July 31st, 2018. The debit card will replace your existing card and have tap/flash technology. Your online banking password and ATM/debit PIN will remain the same. You will need to enter your new debit card number found across the front of your card to login to online banking.




Interac Flash is a great way to pay for everyday purchases directly from your bank account using your debit card- just flash/tap and go. There is no need to swipe, insert your debit card, or enter your pin.



Card Set-Up:

  • When using your new debit card for the first time, you must pay with your chip and PIN to activate the flash/tap feature.
  • Your current PIN will work on this card. If you need to reset your PIN visit and Mainstreet branch or one of the 3600+ ATM's on Mainstreet's network.

Security Features

  • As a security feature, you can spend up to a cumulative maximum of $199 over any time period, at which time you will be asked to insert your chip card and input your debit PIN.
  • There is a $100 limit per transaction. Purchases exceeding this amount will require chip card to be inserted and your PIN.

Getting on to online banking

Before logging in with your new debit card, if you have any old cards "memorized" on your computer you must delete them first.
  • Using the device where you have your login saved, in the login to online banking box on website homepage click the line "manage memorized accounts" and "delete" the old debit card.
  • Login using your new debit card by typing all 19 digits found across the front of your new card.
  • You will enter your existing online banking password in the password box.
  • If you would like you can click the box “memorize this card” - recommended only if you are on a personal computer and would like to not have to type your debit card in the future. Your browser may ask you if you would like to save/memorize your login and password - we recommend you do not select this option.
  • All of your account history, payees, bills, automatics, alerts, etc. have been transitioned over. In some cases, you will be prompted to reset your online banking security questions.

  • Your login is the 19 digits found across the front of your new card and your current password
